Step 1: Start by gently stretching out your latex balloons with a quick burst of air. This step helps the latex become more flexible, making it easier to handle and giving it a bit more stretch to help with a rounder shape and a longer float. It’s like giving your balloons a little warm-up!

Step 2: Carefully release all the air. This may seem small, but deflating ensures your balloon is primed for helium. Letting that initial air out helps your balloon achieve its fullest, longest-lasting shape once it’s filled with helium.

Step 3: Add a small amount of @hifloat into the balloon. Gently massage it throughout the inside of the balloon to coat evenly. This special solution is the secret to longer float times, sealing the latex and keeping helium inside longer. Perfect for all-day parties or multi-day events where you want that display looking fresh!

Step 4: Now for the big fill—inflate your balloon with helium. Steady your hand and watch as the balloon expands to the ideal size (usually about 90% full for a nice round shape without risking popping). Take care not to overinflate, as that can affect float time and make the balloon fragile.

1️⃣ Choose the Right Balloons: Latex balloons are great, but for outdoor setups, make sure to opt for high-quality, brands like @tuftexballoons or @sempertex. They’re less likely to pop or deflate in direct sunlight or fluctuating temperatures.

2️⃣ Anchor Your Display Securely: Outdoor setups are prone to gusts of wind. Use sturdy weights or tie down your garlands with strong anchors like sandbags, zip ties, or heavy-duty stakes. For larger displays, 3M hooks can also help with wall attachments.

3️⃣ Shade is Your Friend: Sunlight can break down latex and cause balloons to oxidize, making them look dull. If possible, position your display in a shaded area to extend the life and vibrancy of your balloons.

4️⃣ Prepare for Temperature Fluctuations: Hot and cold weather will affect the size of your balloons—expanding in the heat and shrinking in the cold. If it’s a cool day, leave a little more air in each balloon. For warmer days, keep them a little underinflated to prevent expansion and popping.
