Ewa’s Locally Grown Baby Shower in Guelph
On May 31, 2026, we transformed a Guelph backyard into a warm and polished farmers’ market celebration for Ewa’s baby shower. The “Locally Grown” theme brought together organic balloon décor, custom market-stall backdrops, fresh produce, garden flowers, layered tablescapes and thoughtful signage.
Our goal was to create a setting that felt abundant and welcoming while still looking refined. Every area had its own purpose, but the colours, materials and natural details connected the entire backyard.
A Backyard Baby Shower with a Market-Fresh Feel
A backyard was the perfect setting for this theme. Mature greenery, warm wood and natural stone already gave us a beautiful foundation, so we designed the décor to complement the surroundings rather than compete with them.

We divided the outdoor space into coordinated visual moments, including dining tables, a fireplace installation, farmers’ market displays and a styled champagne wall. This made the event feel immersive from every angle while leaving comfortable room for guests to gather.
Custom Locally Grown Farmers’ Market Décor
The custom market stalls established the theme immediately. Neutral striped canopies, layered wood tones, baskets, crates, potted plants and fresh produce created the look of an elegant roadside market. Custom “Locally Grown” signage tied the design directly to Ewa’s baby shower.

The produce was more than a finishing touch. Tomatoes, peppers, citrus, squash and other market-inspired details added colour, texture and authenticity throughout the displays. By repeating these elements around the backyard, we created a cohesive event rather than a single decorated backdrop.

Custom concepts like this are part of our complete event styling services in Guelph. We can develop the visual direction, create custom décor and coordinate the individual rental and design elements needed to bring the idea together.
Organic Balloon Décor in Soft Garden Tones
Organic balloon installations connected each part of the event. Sage green, soft peach, warm cream and muted tan tones echoed the produce, wood accents and surrounding garden. Small floral and greenery accents helped the balloons feel integrated with the natural setting.

One of the strongest installations climbed the backyard’s stone fireplace. Its vertical shape drew attention upward and softened the structure while creating a beautiful background behind the dining area.

Our custom balloon décor can be designed around a venue’s existing architecture, helping each installation feel intentional and specific to the space.
Garden-Inspired Baby Shower Tablescapes
The dining tables continued the market garden story with woven chargers, soft linens, green glassware, printed napkins and colourful floral arrangements. Each place setting had several layers, but the natural textures kept the overall look relaxed and suitable for an outdoor celebration.

Fresh flowers and greenery from Meadowville Garden Centre in Guelph added the lively, just-picked quality the theme needed. The varied colours and shapes gave the centrepieces an organic garden style rather than a formal, uniform appearance.

We also coordinated the tables and chairs through Green Valley Event Rentals. Managing those third-party rentals alongside our décor helped ensure the furniture supported the layout, guest experience and overall design.
A Champagne Wall Styled Like a Market Display
The champagne wall became another decorative feature instead of standing apart as a functional rental. We framed it with balloons and surrounded it with produce baskets, potted greenery and garden accents that matched the farmers’ market displays.

Styling rentals as part of the larger event design is what makes a setup feel finished. Our collection of backdrops and event rentals can be customized with balloons, signage, florals and props to suit a wide range of themes.
A Thoughtfully Coordinated Celebration for Ewa
This Locally Grown baby shower came together through a balance of custom work, detailed styling and practical coordination. From the market stalls and balloon installations to the floral tables and rental furniture, each element supported the same warm garden-market story.

We loved creating this backyard baby shower in Guelph for Ewa and turning a playful theme into an elegant, guest-ready environment. The result felt personal, colourful and grounded in the natural beauty of the space.
