For this elegant fall baby shower at Bingaman’s Banquet Hall in Kitchener, our client chose the theme “A Little Pumpkin Is on the Way.” We provided full room styling, bringing the celebration together through custom signage, a ripple-wall backdrop, organic balloon décor, handcrafted faux florals, pumpkin accents and coordinated tablescapes.

Rather than making the room feel overly themed, we used a softer autumn palette and repeated each design element with intention. The result was a warm, polished baby shower that felt seasonal while remaining modern and personal.

Full room styling allowed us to look beyond one backdrop and create a connected experience from the entrance to the guest tables. Each area had its own purpose, but the balloon colours, faux florals, pumpkins, linens and candlelight created one consistent design story.

The palette centred on White Sand, Peach and Burnt Orange balloons. White Sand kept the installations light and creamy, Peach introduced gentle warmth, and Burnt Orange added the rich seasonal contrast needed for the pumpkin theme.

A Personalized Pumpkin Baby Shower Welcome Display

Guests were introduced to the theme through a personalized welcome sign displayed on a gold stand. Soft pumpkin illustrations, autumn leaves and florals gave the sign a seasonal look while keeping the design elegant.

An organic balloon installation framed the sign in White Sand, Peach and Burnt Orange. We added one of our handmade faux floral arrangements near the base, then finished the display with pumpkins in different shapes and sizes.

A Modern Ripple-Wall Backdrop with Organic Balloons

The main focal point was our arched ripple-wall backdrop. Its vertical texture and warm neutral finish provided a clean, modern base for the personalized “A Little Pumpkin Is on the Way” wording.

The organic balloon garland began at the floor, climbed one side of the backdrop and continued across the top. Balloons in several sizes created depth and movement, while the three colours were distributed throughout the design rather than arranged in separate blocks.

We tucked handmade faux floral groupings into the balloon installation and styled pumpkins around the base. This completed the arrangement from top to bottom and ensured the display looked balanced both on its own and when guests stood in front of it for photographs.

Elegant Autumn Tablescapes and Faux Floral Centrepieces

The guest tables carried the fall baby shower theme into a more intimate setting. Patterned linens were layered with loosely draped cream runners, creating texture without overwhelming the table. Mustard-gold napkins added another warm autumn tone to each place setting.

We made each floral centrepiece using a decorative pumpkin as the vessel. The arrangements combined warm orange, cream, dusty peach and mauve blooms with eucalyptus, berries, grasses and seasonal foliage.

Because the florals were created by our team, we could control their scale, shape and colour balance to suit the room. Their loose, natural form added movement while remaining low enough for comfortable conversation across the table.

Mini pumpkins in orange, copper and glittered finishes were arranged along the runners. Tall white taper candles in slim gold holders added height, while smaller gold votives created a softer glow closer to the table.

Bingemans Banquet Hall already featured dark wood wall panels, chandeliers, patterned carpeting and a raised stage. Our décor needed enough warmth to suit those existing details while still creating a clear visual transformation.

The neutral ripple wall brightened the main focal area. Peach and Burnt Orange echoed the warmth of the wood, while White Sand softened the balloon installations. Gold candle holders connected naturally with the venue lighting, and the faux florals added colour without competing with the room.

Thoughtful venue styling is about working with the space rather than ignoring it. Every colour, texture and rental was selected to feel at home in the banquet hall while still giving our client a celebration that felt distinctly their own.

Seasonal Décor That Still Felt Refined

Pumpkin themes can quickly become rustic or playful. For this celebration, we kept the theme clear but selective. Larger pumpkins anchored the welcome display and backdrop, while smaller pumpkins became accents across the guest tables.

The softer balloon palette, elegant signage, handcrafted faux florals and layered candlelight helped the room feel polished rather than overly literal. Every detail supported the same story without competing for attention.
